Focusing more on the peaceful surroundings around my area, taking the time and slowing down to appreciate the nature during the current quarantine. Walks are a good time to clear your mind and what better way to just bring the camera and capture the moments. Filmed in Essex around Southend on Sea (Seafront), primarily Shoeburyness, Thorpe Bay and Pier Hill central Southend. I have bought my fir...
Fantastic mate, great video production and editing well done! Watched liked and subbed 👌
Just amazing
Impressive footage ! 👏
grea!
Subbed. Nice work man!!
🔥that DZ0 20-55 looks awesome!
yeah it's a very lovely lens, creamy goodness 😍
Good to see you in my subscription again! I'm the dude who recommended you the heliopan ir cut with your bmpcc4k! Are you still using that with the ursa 12k? cus with no nds it does still have ir pollution unfortunetly. And btw I upgraded from my bmpcc4k to a red dragon 6k last year so it's been a really long time since we've talked!
Haha yep I remember! I since cracked it but use my P4K a lot let less. Nope it's not as bad but hopefully I can get the OLPF that BM just added to it at some point which apparently reduces the IR too or so I've heard. Nice! A friend of mine got his Dragon as well, such a nice camera, no wires just a dream to operate. Second hand market isn't even that bad compared to the Ursa price. Hope you been good and sorry late reply, been pretty full on 4 days. I tend to post on Instagram more than RUclips.
Absolutely beautiful !
Very well done! You’ve got a great eye for composition and small detail! I’m a fan of your work plus I love the BMPCC 4K :)
Awesome Mr K. Subbed
Stunning video!
thank you brother!!
what adapter was used for FD lenses?
Hey mate, the adapter used for the 70-210 FD is www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00LECYK0Y/
Beautiful shots!
Cheers mate means a lot, really dig your style!
I'm going to confess, I didn't watch this on the big screen on youtube before now. Doesn't do it justice on instagram. Beautiful work mate!
cheeeeeeky! Haha its cool thank you brother means a lot :) 👊
Really sensitively filmed and executed Mister K, it makes our home town look really very poetic. Good to have connected. We wish you all the best with your film making.
Thank you very much sir! It is idd a nice place, shame I didn't capture the Old Leigh, next time! :) Thank you and you too :)
@@kolecava - ah yes next time. Look forward to seeing that.
Great video! Can I ask which adapter you're using for the FD lens? I'm considering getting the Laowa 9mm as a wide angle to go with my cropped FD lenses (I have a K&F adapter, no speedbooster). Was worried the Laowa would be too sharp to match well with the softer, low contrast FDs but they seem ok together here.
Hey for the 70-210 I am using K&F Concepts FD to Micro 4 3 and for the Sigma the standard Viltrox x0.71 which has been really good. The Laowa 9 is amazing, great colors, sharp, get nice bokeh and no distortion (*of Two Lands* has a video on this. Still it's a situational lens and only use it when I really need to get in small places or capturing scenery and want everything in there to show the scale. Anything lower than the 9mm and I think you will see vignetting and distortion. All in all if you find it not fitting well with your FDs you can always just tone down the sharpness and grade so it matches. the other lenses. I certainly recommend the Laowa, just depends if you find yourself needing that focal length a lot. I was tempted to sell it and get something on the opposite spectrum (85mm for or towards Canon USM II 70-200) but glad I didn't sell it. Once I start collecting a cine kit, I will probably sell the Sigma and Laowa but for now they are super useful.
Mister K thanks for that answer, much appreciated! I’ve ordered the Laowa. I actually have the sigma 18-35 too but I wanted a wider option for establishing shots and also something nice and light for gimbal work. Although the sigma is a great all rounder, my crane 2 feels like it’s working hard to handle its weight. Between those and my FDs I’ll be covered in most scenarios for now. Like you said, I’ll grade out the differences in post if needed. I’ll make sure to check out your future videos and will be interested to see how your kit develops. All the best!
@@Sam-bd7gp You won't be disappointed! Let me know how it goes and how you like it and thanks you too :)
beautiful shots!
Thank you, much appreciated Colin :) PS: Watched your (ruclips.net/video/E5GA5eL_Zn8/видео.html) video yesterday funnily enough. You should do more talking to camera videos, good stuff!
beautiful, serene. Digital footage deserves 'fake' film grain and don't let anyone tell you different, it just looks BETTER. love it.
Thanks mate. Indeed, everything with taste :)
I would recommend a heliopan ir uv cut filter to prevent ir pollution on the bmpcc4k, it's a little expensive but doesn't color vignette on wide angle lenses, so I highly recommend it.
Hey, thanks for the helpful comment! I do notice that the blues aren't popping and having to really boost them in post. I haven't really looked into polarizers at all so will check it out, thanks Mr Sandwich! :)
@@kolecava ir pollution affects all colors, but mostly it affects black fabrics, as seen in this video ruclips.net/video/durilMvBPMU/видео.html, polarizers definitely help in getting that rich sky and cut reflections, but your greens and blacks will still get heavily polluted without an ir cut filter.
@@imabigsandwich1292 pretty crazy difference. I watched few videos yesterday (Tom Antos done one as well). So without bugging you too much, do you recommend IRND or would it be fine to just get something like the Heliopan or Tiffen IRs and screwing my ND on top of them? I guess IRNDs are probably more expensive (I would sell my current ND) while IR+ND would just add extra glass infront potentially degrading the image/sharpness? Thanks for the replies: :)
@@kolecava IRNDs are too expensive for a full set, and the problem is that even without any nds the bmpcc4k has a lot of ir pollution, so you need the ir cut to be in front of the lens full time. The tiffen, b&w and hoya all gives extreme amount of colored green vignette anything below 35mm, but the heliopan uses schott bg40 and gives next to no vignette at all at wide angles, as seen in this comparison: (www.davidkennardphotography.com/blog/1069-ir-cut-filters-compared.xhtml) And plus all of the other filters have extremely soft coatings, I personally owns the hoya, and it's only been a few months, but the coating is already very scratched up. So I would definitely suggest you to get the heliopan, but to avoid any hard vignette I need to know what vnd you use right now and it's size.
@@imabigsandwich1292 This could be due to incorrect WB but I noticed some greenish cast with my current ND. I use the Genustech Eclipse ND 82mm although I have heard mixed reviews on it. It's crazy how much color separation you get from the IR filter and the differences between them as seen in the blog. It seems that using one is required 100% of the time when shooting in the sun. My eye is still pretty untrained to these shifts in colour so I wouldn't of known any different if you didn't point it out. I am debating whether I will go with a matte box setup at some point to 1) add more weight to handheld shots and 2) to get more control and better glass for filters. Just invested into some lights but still need an audio recorder. Done some further research on the Heliopan so pretty ready to pull a trigger on it.
These shots are incredible bro!
Thanks a lot bro, appreciate it! 👊
